Rauner reaches out to lawmakers in Springfield

Governor-elect Bruce Rauner goes to Springfield today to meet with state lawmakers in the midst of their fall veto session.

Rauner will ask them to postpone action on key legislation until January, when the new General Assembly is sworn in.

Among the issues still to be decided are a hike in the state minimum wage and a proposal to make the state's temporary income tax hike permanent.
