Co-workers from the billing department at an Oak Brook Com-Ed won a million dollars in the Illinois State Lottery.

The final cut they each received had a lot less zeros.

That’s because the group known as “42 Mega-Watts” had to split their winnings 42 ways.

They’ve been playing as a team for more than 6-years, chipping in $2 every week, finally striking gold last months.

When their check was awarded, each person got about $23,000 before taxes.

After taxes, their winnings totaled about $14,000.

Still, some are using the money to pay for their children’s college tuition, while others are just happy to reimbursed for their weekly contributions to the lottery pool.
