U. of C. makes top 5 list for most expensive colleges in America

Colleges are expensive – period.

If you’re a parent getting ready to send your child to school, you may want to take note.

“The Chronicle of Higher Eduction” compiled a list ranking the most expensive colleges in the country.

Universities in New York, California, and Chicago took the top 5 spots.

The priciest college in America is Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Cost of tuition, room and board at the private liberal art school totaled $65, 480 for a year.

Harvey Mudd College in California wasn’t far off, coming in at second place with tuition costs at $64,427.

Coming in as the third most expensive is Columbia University in New York, costing $63, 440.

New York University took fourth place costing $62,930.

University of Chicago rounded out the top 5 costing $62,458 a year.

    Oh boy. Can the folks at WGN PLEASE check their articles before posting them? Wow! The slide says, “University of Chicago” and the article/headline states University of Illinois. Come on, people! Go get that Starbuck’s, if you need it!
