Logan Square on alert after several women robbed

An alert has been issued in the Logan Square neighborhood after several women were robbed of their belongings on the street.

The first of a string of strong arm robberies happened November 1st in 3000 block of Gresham. It was around 1 p.m. Police say a man 20 to 25 years old knocked a woman down from behind then stole her things.

A day later and just around the corner at 3300 Belmont another woman was attacked around d8 p.m.
The last robbery was just a few days ago around 10 a.m. in the 3400 block of Diversery.   Two suspects are wanted for attacking a woman.

The suspects are described as in their late teens or early 20s. In one case the suspect had long black dreadlocks.  Also police say in one of the cases the suspect asked to use the victim’s cell phone before stealing her things.
