Two people are facing charges after police spotted them snooping around a car in Mayor Emanuel's security detail.

Edwin Torres and Maria Baez both face burglary charges.

A Chicago Police Officer says he saw Torres leaning into the trunk of a city-owned vehicle on the 1700 block of West Byron.

Then he saw Baez getting out of his own car with some of his belongings nearby.

When the officer tried to arrest Baez, she allegedly hit him.
