A suburban teen allegedly stole two cars and went on a high speed chase covering six jurisdictions after being shot in the face early Friday morning.
18-year-old Ronald Mass is facing an attempted murder charge and nine other counts.
The police chase at times went up to 80 miles per hour.
Police say Mass also crashed into a squad car and two other vehicles.
His 15 year-old female friend suffered non-life threatening injuries in one of the crashes. Two passengers in another vehicle suffered serious injuries.
911 operators received a call from someone reporting they could hear someone or something “moaning" by their barn. Authorities traced the noise and found Maas in a truck, and he was allegedly attempting to drive-off.
Maas had a gunshot wound to the cheek, and was bleeding badly. He also had a broken arm.
No charges have been filed.
