Nearly 300 tow trucks from all over converged onto Toyota Park in  suburban Bridgeview Sunday for the 7th annual Tow Truck for Tots Parade.

The parade stretched nearly 50 miles from Joliet and collected thousands of pounds of toys for kids around Chicago.

The parade holds the world record for most tow trucks at 324. This year, there were 281 trucks.   Short of their own record but certainly long on heart.
