U.S. warplanes attacked a convoy  near Mosul in Iraq this weekend, in an attempt to kill Islamic state leaders.

U.S. officials could not confirm whether top ISIS leaders Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi was in the convoy.

New reports have indicated that Baghdadi may  have died or been injured.

At least 15 people were killed and 31 injured in another airstrike at a market near an ISIS checkpoint.

Both areas are ISIS strongholds.
