John Lewis is a British department store that’s known for its holiday commercials that get millions of YouTube hits.

Well, the store is out with its 2014 ads that features a CGI penguin looking for love in a hopeless place. It goes to the tune of a cover of John Lennon’s ‘Real Love.’

The video shows Monty the penguin using building blocks and playing with the 5-year-old boy he lives with.

Sure, that may be fun, but when little Monty sees couples walking in the snow, it has him wanting more than a 5-year-old’s leftovers.

Much to his surprise, Monty wakes up on Christmas morning to a new, lady penguin, fresh out the box. For friendship, of course.

We already have satirists joking that this condones sex trafficking in the penguin world.
