Rauner announces Chief of Staff during “Thank You” tour

Governor-elect Bruce Rauner continues his "thank you tour" across Illinois saying compassion and competition are critical to the state's success.

He says he wants to make the state the most compassionate place in the country, and take care of its most vulnerable citizens.

Another goal of Rauner's in to kick-start the economy.

Rauner also announced that his transition committee director, Mike Zolnierowicz, will be his chief of staff.
