Christina and John Cunningham are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of their son.

John Cunningham IV is a 27 years old of resident of Lakeview. He disappeared Thursday morning from his parent’s home in unincorporated Palos Park.

His mother tells WGN she overheard him on the phone, quitting his job as an accounts manager for a brokerage firm.

“He said, 'I’m resigning as of today.' I heard something to the effect of 'It’s not about prestige and money, it’s about God and family,'” Christina said.

Christina and John Cunningham say their son may have been stressed about supporting the child of an ex-girlfriend which was not his biological child.

When John took off, he left only wearing a pair of jogging pants and a t-shirt. He had no shoes, no wallet and no cell phone.
