A family in Tinley Park saw something unusual today, practically in their back yard. Two bald eagles flew back and forth over a retention pond behind the Henkle’s house. Daisy 8 and Ivy 5 spotted the birds as they put on an amazing show. The birds were apparently looking for food and were successful for a short time. One of the eagles swooped down and caught a fish from the pond. It was all captured on home video this afternoon.
