Scathing report released on Metra: Are commuters’ safety at risk?

Metra trains are moving again after an earlier incident in West Garfield Park  involving a train and a semi-truck.

All train traffic was stopped while authorities investigate how the semi was struck.

No injuries are reported to passengers on the train. The train was scheduled to arrive in Geneva at 5:47p.m.
