Two people found dead in Ford Heights; apparent homicide, officials say

An autopsy conducted Saturday determined that a man and woman found dead in a Suburban Ford Heights home were homicide victims, officials said.

The victims were found with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Sophia Ansari, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office.

The victims were discovered in a home in the 1400 block of Regent Lane, officials said. There was no sign of forced entry, Ansari said.

Mchezo McMillian, 38, of the 1400 block of Regent Lane was pronounced dead at 7:49 p.m. Friday, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Ashley Hudson, 21, of the 1200 block of West Birch in Homewood, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the office.

The autopsy determined that both died of multiple gunshot wounds and their deaths were ruled homicides.

Authorities were alerted to the incident when a man who visited the home flagged down police at 5:25 p.m. Friday.

The sheriff's office provides police services for the suburb.
