CHICAGO -- LeBron James scored 36 points to spoil the Chicago Bulls home opener, as the Cleveland Cavaliers won 114-108 in overtime.
The Bulls led by five in the final minute but could not hold the lead as Cleveland forced overtime.
Seven Bulls scored in double figures, led by Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich who scored 20 points each.
Rose left the game in the second half with a sprained left ankle and did not return for the fourth quarter or overtime.
The Bulls will travel to Minnesota to play the Timberwolves Saturday night. Rose says he hopes to play.
