Bomb threat investigated at federal building in Loop

Authorities are investigating after someone called in a bomb threat at the Klucynski Federal Building in Chicago's Loop.

Chicago police say a male caller made the threat at 7:15 a.m. Thursday at the federal building located at 230 S. Dearborn.

There are no reports of injuries. A few floors of the building were evacuated.

The U.S. Marshals are handling the investigation.

Just this week, homeland security stepped up security at federal buildings in Chicago and across the country.
