Governor Pat Quinn has ordered the Illinois State Board of Education to intervene in the almost month-long Waukegan teachers strike.

Last night’s packed school board meeting became unruly with school board member Victoria Torres yelling at the agitated crowed to "shut-up." Torres apologized today for her outburst at last night's board meeting.

Calls for her resignation are even coming from the mayor of Waukegan.

Gary Chico is chairman of the state board of education.
