A 3-year-old and an adult were taken to the hospital and 10 others were injured in a hayride accident in Will County Monday afternoon.

According to the Will County Sheriff’s office, the “minor incident” occurred at Bengston Farms near Homer Glen when a part came loose as the ride was going down a slight embankment causing 12 people to fall off. Authorities say the ride tilted but did not flip over.

The 3-year-old and an adult were taken to the hospital with “non-life threatening injuries,” the sheriff’s office said.

The others signed refusals at the scene.
