A Chicago man is sentenced to three years in prison for a hate crime attack on a lesbian couple.

Terry Glover pleaded guilty to felony aggravated battery and hate crime charges Tuesday.

Glover admitted he was part of a group that attacked two women last year in the Austin neighborhood.

Quintas Lockett suffered a broken rib, cuts and bruises during the beating.

She says Glover’s friends have been harassing her over the past year, for pursuing the case.

Lockett tells the Chicago Tribune she hopes her story will help someone else.
