3 injured in separate shootings on Chicago’s South Side
Chicago police confirm three people were injured in two separate shootings on Chicago’s South Side.
A man was shot in the leg at 11:30 a.m. at 6400 S. Maplewood.
Two men were shot at 11:45 a.m. at 7100 S. Artesian. Witnesses say passengers from a blue sedan fired shots in a drive by, and that the victims were standing on the sidewalk at the time.
A 34-year-old man was transported in serious condition to Christ Hospital.
A 39-year-old man was shot in the leg and transported in good condition at Holy Cross Hospital.
