    I watched this segment yesterday, and as someone who has an interest in serial killings and has also taken several college course related to it, some of the things Sullivan mentioned are wrong. Serial killers are NOT mass murderers. There is a HUGE difference. Mass murderers kill four or more people at one time, according to the FBI. Serial murders kill three or more people, each in separate events, with a cooling off period in between each murder. All of this information came from my college textbooks, specifically Serial Murderers and Their Victims by Eric Hickey (2013).
