A substitute teacher in Indiana was fired from his job after someone allegedly recognized him on an episode of “To Catch a Predator.”

WBND reports someone contacted Plymouth High School in Michiana, Ind to say they saw 61-year-old Stanley Kendall on a 2007 episode of the NBC show. He was recorded trying to lure a child in Texas.

School authorities sent home a letter to parents Friday stating that Kendall lives in Warsaw and has been substituting in Indiana schools.

The letter also states that the charges against Kendall in Texas were dropped due to technicalities with the case.

Authorities also say they are looking in to how Kendall got hired in the first place.

Plymouth Police Department is now taking over the investigation.
