Police are working to track down the gunmen, who caused a shootout at a bar in southwest suburban East Hazel Crest.

Patrons and workers at Beano's Tavern say they froze, when the gunmen burst in Thursday night, waving guns, and ordering everyone to the floor.

An off-duty Evanston police officer opened fire, and the suspects fired back. The gunmen ran to their car and drove away.

No one was shot.

Police say they have developed some solid leads.

The gunmen fled in a dark-colored four-door Audi that may have bullet holes from the exchange of gunfire.
