Police are looking for the gunmen who caused a shootout at a bar in southwest suburban East Hazel Crest.

It happened at Beano's Tavern on South Fisk.

It happened around 9 p.m. Thursday night.

Customers and workers say they froze when the gunmen came in waving guns and ordering everyone to the floor.

An off-duty officer from Evanston was at the bar and he opened fire on the gunmen.

The suspects fired back as they ran to a car and drove away.

That car is a reportedly a dark-colored, four-door Audi, which could have bullet holes from the exchange of gunfire.

This is not Chicago. It’s a friendly neighborhood bar in the South Suburbs. You make no sense. The NRA didn’t “get” Chicago to lift it’s gun ban either. The federal government did it and the gun ban or lack of had nothing to do with this. It was some low life thugs who would have a gun with or without a gun ban. geesh
