Eight shot overnight, 3 at a gas station

It was a violent night in some parts of the city.

Eight people were shot overnight across Chicago, including three people at a gas station.

It all started at 39th and Francisco around 11:15 Friday night.

Three males were shot by people in a passing green sedan while standing on the sidewalk

Police believe it's a gang related incident.

Authorities are investigating.

Another incident on the south side near 67th and Throop.

That one happened about 1 a.m. Saturday.

Police say a 24 year-old male was fatally shot and say they believe he is a known gang member.

And finally, three men were shot at a gas station while standing in the parking lot.

It happened about 2:20 a.m. Saturday morning near the 5100 block of West Madison.

The three were identified as men ages  24, 21, and 19.

They were taken to Stroger Hospital where they are recovering.

      You don’t keep up on the news. After the gun ban was lifted in 2010 (thanks to the NRA), homicides went up 20%. Proof positive that an armed society is NOT a polite one.

        You should read more, ZEBRA STRIPES. The gun ban is still in effect due to foot dragging by your elected criminal Democrats! They do not care about hood rats or others they do not see as themselves!
