Airstrikes don't seem to be slowing down Isis as it tights its grip on Iraq's Anbar province..

In Syria, house-to-house battles are damaging the city of Kobani.

Isis fighters controlled about half of the city Friday after taking over administration buildings.

Turkey may be under pressure to launch a ground operation in support of Kurdish fighters defending Kobani.

Nearly 21 Isis militants and at least 8 Kurdish fighters were killed in the clash.
