Temperatures dip in the 30s, snow reported in Chicago suburbs

Temperatures dipped below 40 degrees overnight, and snow flurries were reported in the northwest and western suburbs.  The snow didn't stick but it is the third earliest snowfall dating back to 1884.  It will warm only slightly throughout the day with temperatures staying in the 40s.
