After a four month hiatus, the search for a missing Malaysia Airlines jet is set to resume.

The first of three ships is expected to arrive in the search zone on Sunday.

Crews will comb a desolate stretch of the Indian Ocean, far off Australia's West coast.

Flight 370 disappeared in March during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board.

The search has been on hold so experts could map the seabed in the search zone.

It's expected to take up to a year to complete.
