Two of the people shot were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.  One is dead after being shot in the face.

The person killed was a 20-year-old.  The others include a 23-year-old in critical condition at Mount Sinai, who was shot in the back.  A 23-year-old was shot in the leg and is in critical condition at Stroger Hospital.  A 24-year-old was shot in the butt and is in stable condition at Stroger.

Police had been looking for the vehicle.  They'd received 9-1-1 calls about multiple people shot inside a car in the area.

The driver, who was also shot, was apparently looking for Mount Sinai Hospital when police found them.

The passenger windows and back windows were shot out.

No one is in custody for this shooting.  Police are continuing their investigation.

Why does every talk about race?
How about blame the source? Which is the inadequate mayoral leadership we have.
When all the politicians care about is their standings in the polls and their campaign war chest for the upcoming election, or corporate sponsors, friends and more greed.
    Unfortunately this is the aftermath.
While there will be people who blame race, economics, blah blah.
The real problem starts with the city’s leadership & goes down hill from there.
If we had a no nonsense mayor who actually cared about his citiczens and the condition of our city instead of smiling all the time all the way to the bank. We maybe could take our streets back.
Chicago is a shell of what it once was only 30 years ago or so. Very sad, time to move to DuPage or Will counties, at least my family will get the services my taxes pay for.
