No injuries reported in massive warehouse blaze on West Side

Firefighters battled a massive warehouse blaze on Chicago's West Side this afternoon near the Eisenhower Expressway.

The fire broke out in the 3900 block of W Harrison in the Lawndale neighborhood.  Chicago Fire Dept says  propane tanks exploded in the building and  caused of the fire.

The fire was struck out around 4:30 p.m.  Smoke from the fire billowed on to the Eisenhower Expressway causing traffic to slow in both directions.

Police say it was also a hazmat situation due to the presence of ammonia.

No injuries have been reported.
