A massive overhaul started today on one of the city's busiest transportation hubs.

The Red Line's 95th St station serves about 20,000 rail and bus riders each weekday.

Officials say it`s going to look completely different when it`s done.

The $240 million dollar project includes better lighting, a brighter atmosphere, expanded platforms, more escalators and elevators.

It will also create 700 construction jobs.
