Public asked to help identify body of man found in Gary

A man found dead in Gary four weeks ago remains unidentified, and the Lake County Coroner’s office needs your help in finding out who he was.

The man was discovered on August 21st at Sherman and W. 15th Ave.

He wore Levi blue jeans, tan Dexter brand work boots, and a silver belt buckle with the words, “Live to Ride.”

Anyone with information about the identification of this individual is asked to call the Lake County Coroner`s Office at (219) 755-3265.

The Gary Police Department is asking anyone with information about the investigation to call Cpl. Mike Barnes at (219) 881-7434.
