Pets rescued from house fire in Dolton

Several pets were rescued from a house fire in Dolton.

It broke out just after midnight Monday in the basement of the home.

Everyone inside made it out safely, including several kids.

Two dogs and two cats also got out.

One of the cats was struggling until paramedics gave it oxygen.

Four cats died in the fire.

The cause is under investigation, but officials suspect the dryer caught on fire.
