A little patient has taken microsurgery to a new extreme.

A couple in Australia spent $200 to save George their pet goldfish.

George has been a part of the family for about 10 years but over the past year, he developed a large growth on his head.

The surgery lasted about an hour, but after that, George was off the hook.

He's back at home recovering with about 20 other fish.
