Passengers aboard the CTA Blue Line train that derailed during the Wednesday morning rush-hour commute are sharing what that was like.
The train had a minor derailment near the Pulaski station arought 7:15 a.m. as it headed inbound. This brought service to a halt for two hours.
400 passengers were impacted.
"There was this big, loud noise, and my Kindle went flying. I went up in the air, back down. And that was that," said CTA rider MaryBeth Pregracke.
Greshynka Thomas says she felt a bump, and saw smoke and sparks.
No one was hurt.
Shuttle buses were used for the impacted riders.
