A Maryland college is telling high school seniors they can apply “without” transcripts and SAT scores.
Instead, Goucher College will accept a “selfie” video as a substitute.
Prospective students can submit a two-minute video to the Towson, Maryland school… expressing who they are.
School administrators say this is just one option to apply.  The video would stand on its own, along with two examples of high school projects.  No grades or SAT scores would be needed.
The president of the college, Dr. Jose Bowen, says college admission should not be based on just scores, but also on an applicant’s own view of their potential.  Bowen has been president for nine weeks.
