Karen Lewis inches closer to Mayoral run

Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis inches closer to a possible run for Chicago mayor.

Volunteers are learning how to circulate petitions in order to get her name on the ballot. She says she's excited about her support.

Lewis needs 12,500 signatures to get on the ballot.

The primary election will be held in February.

      You’re joking right? Emanuel bought his way in. Emanuel left the White House to be mayor of Chicago, such a sham, he didn’t even live in Chicago! He was in Washington! But Rahm has a few powerful friends and his residency wasn’t an issue anymore. Karen has the support of every public employee, teacher, officer and firefighter. Emanuel has…who? Hopefully Karen drums up even more support and gets the whole city behind her so even Emanuel trying to buy his way in again wouldn’t be enough.
