How to Plan for Disasters:

Have a plan

Keep pets with you if at all possible

Leave early, do not wait for an evacuation order

Involve the entire family -- delegate jobs to each family member

Items to have on-hand for disasters:
First aid kit, bowls, bottled water, food (flip-top), leash, collar with tags, plastic bags, kitty litter pan with litter, carrier, pet medications, veterinary records/medical info, microchip info, picture of you with your pets, familiar toy, towel, “pets inside” sticker.
