The Jane Byrne Interchange has a nice ring to it.

Chicago's first and only female mayor appeared at a dedication ceremony for renaming of the Circle Interchange in her honor.

Her supporters say it's fitting that her legacy will be honored right in the middle of Chicago.

Byrne spoke briefly to the media after the ceremony, praising the city she once ran.
