iPhone 5 Battery Recall

Apple is replacing some iPhone 5 batteries.  The company reports some iPhone 5 smartphones may suddenly experience shorter battery life or need to be charged more often.

Only iPhone 5 smartphones sold between September 2012 and January 2013 are eligible, and only those that fall within a certain range of serial numbers.

Apple has set up a website for the battery replacements.

You can find out if your device is eligible by inputting the serial number on the website.
