Chicago’s North Side hit hard but Monday’s storms

Storms blew through the Chicago area Monday afternoon leaving behind downed trees and damage.

Chicago’s North Side in the Edgewater and Andersonville neighborhoods was particularly hard hit.

Winds and rain caused damages to homes and cars, with branches in streets and on top of roofs.

Residents have begun to cleanup and will continue to do so in the coming days.

Anyone with un-cleared trees or concerns should call 311.

No injuries were reported.
