The controversy in Ferguson, Missouri is raising the debate: When is a police officer justified to use their weapon?

The Evanston Police Department uses special tasers that are equipped with tiny cameras to increase accountability for its officers and the people they arrest.

The tasers are designed to deliver a powerful, but non-lethal electrical shock.

The cameras videotape the targets being tasered.

After every discharge, Evanston police leaders review the use of force.

In Dallas today, the police department announced it will spend more than a million dollars to outfit officers with wearable cameras.
