Two men have been charged in the shooting of a mother and her two daughters in northwest Indiana.

17-year-old Alan Lavelle Ross Jr and 20-year-old Joseph Alonozo Pleasure were charged in the robbery and shooting that happened over the weekend.

A 41-year-old mother drove her two daughters, ages 12 and 15, from suburban Addison to Hammond Ind on Sunday thinking she was going to buy cellphones from someone she met on Facebook.

Instead she met up with the suspects who sent her to the alley in 900 block of Morris around 11:30 a.m.

The woman sensed something was wrong and tried to take off and that’s when the shooting began. All three victims inside the car were hit and remain hospitalized.

The men will be in Crowne Point courtroom for arraignment in coming days.

Officials really wanted to curtail these shooting they would change the law to make life sentences with hard labor without
possibility of parole for any crime committed with a deadly weapon. Make examples of them to the young wanabe thugs.
