Graffiti Action Day

  • From 10 a.m. to noon, volunteers will team up with Alderman Joe Moreno to remove street graffiti in the Wicker Park and West town neighborhoods.
  • All volunteers will receive a free lunch.
  • Organizers say last month, they removed 590 graffiti markings in the area.

Taste of Lincoln

  • From Noon to 10p.m. today the Taste of Lincoln will stretch across 6 blocks of Lincoln avenue from Wrightwood to Fullerton.
  • The festival will include a kids carnival, live entertainment, food booths and vendors

Lake County Fair

  • This weekend is the 86th annual Lake County Fair in Grayslake. It is open daily at 10a.m.
  • The fair will have farm animals, carnival rides, food and fun for the whole family.
