Bulls’ Noah to speak today on combating gun violence in Chicago

Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah is taking a stand against Chicago gun violence.

With support from his Noah’s Arc Foundation, Noah will unveil new tactics in his campaign to combat gun violence in partnership with community organizations.  He’ll discuss these tactics at a news conference Friday afternoon at a West Side community center, according to a news release from the foundation.

The 2014 NBA defensive player of the year founded the Noah’s Arc Foundation in 2010 with his mother, renowned sculptor and art therapist Cecilia Rodhe. The foundation aims to provide young people with opportunities improve themselves and their communities.
