Chicago-bound Southwest flight makes emergency landing in Ohio

A Southwest airlines plane headed to Chicago was forced to make an emergency landing in Ohio.

Passengers were immediately evacuated using inflatable slides after the plane touched down in Columbus late Tuesday night.

The flight was headed from Baltimore to Chicago when a smoke alarm went off in the cargo area.

No one was injured.

Airline officials say the plane was inspected but no problems were found.
