A 48-year old man rescued from Lake Michigan is in serious condition.

Chicago Fire Department divers were called to the lake near Bryn Mawr Avenue around 11:00 pm Thursday.

A witness had reported seeing a man bobbing up and down in the water. Divers spotted him about ten feet from the shore and pulled him out.

Paramedics performed CPR and were able to get a pulse from the victim. Police say he was alone when he went into the water.

His clothes were found on shore nearby.
