After months of delays, the world's tallest waterslide is finally ready to open to the public at the Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City, Kansas.

Verruckt (which means "insane" in German) is 168 feet tall, which is taller than Niagara Falls, and drops a four-person raft of riders at speeds up to 60 miles per hour.

Marcus Leshock talked with one of the slide's first riders this morning, park spokeswoman Winter Prosapio.
