‘Threatening’ call puts Chicago hospital on lockdown for hours

Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago was put on lockdown for nearly four hours Thursday morning after the hospital received a threatening phone call.

No one will comment on the nature of the call but it was threatening enough to prompt a full Chicago police response. A hospital spokesperson said for the protection of employees, patients and visitors, they took special measures.

During the lockdown, patients and visitors were turned away.
