Body of United flight attendant found in trunk of car

Police believe they have promising leads into who killed a mother from Crown Point, Indiana.

54-year-old DeCarol Deloney-Cain was found Monday in the trunk of an abandoned car in Gary.  She was stabbed multiple times and suffered blunt force trauma to the head. The vehicle was located on a gravel road in some woods on the 2000 block of E. 22nd Street. Her body was wrapped up.

"It had to be foul play, you know something like that. Maybe even personal or maybe it was just a random act," said her son, Black Deloney.
She was a flight attendant for United Airlines for 27 years. Her employer called her son to find out why she didn't show up for work at O'Hare Airport, since she never missed a shift.She was going through a divorce at the time of her death. She leaves behind two sons and a daughter.
